When deciding on bathroom colors, it’s not just the theme color that is considered but also that of the bathroom cabinets, towels, mats, potted plants, ornaments and shower curtains. The main factor to consider before deciding on the theme color is the size of the bathroom. A smaller bathroom needs softer colors as they will make it seem larger while large ones require deep and rich colors to give them a more compact look. The theme color should portray the taste and sometimes the mood of the user.

For modern style bathrooms, brighter and sharper colors are more preferable. White, pink, silver and gold would go perfectly with this kind of bathroom. Bathrooms built in a traditional style would be better off if floral patterns were painted especially if it has wooden finishes. Neutral colors are the most preferable although they can be given different tones as fitting to the user’s taste.
