nullAlso known as room air conditioners, window air conditioners are mounted on windows. They operate by cooling one single room in the house, instead of the entire house. This makes them cheaper to operate as compared to central air conditioning units. Since they are small in size, they are easily mounted on windows. They can be removed from the windows quite easily when the cold season comes.

Window air conditioners are usually made from good sound-absorbing materials, and this makes them less nosy than the other air conditioners. They also have relatively quieter motors.

The windows air conditioner easily gets rid of the condensed water that air conditioners produce, by directing it outside. When used in conjunction with interior fans, the cool air is spread evenly in the room and this leads to saving great amounts of power because you can turn on the air conditioner at minimum level.
